Demand For Compensation For Deceased Sailors

Former National Shipping Board member Captain Sanjay Parashar has demanded ₹1 crore in government aid for families of Indian sailors killed in the Hormuz conflict. Speaking at a seminar on sailor welfare, he highlighted the critical role sailors play in maintaining supply chains, even during global crises like COVID-19. Parashar stressed that sailor safety must be a priority and called for increased involvement of Indian Navy warships. He also urged the Seafarers Welfare Fund Society to ensure its welfare schemes reach all sailors.

मृत नाविकों के लिए मुआवजे की मांग

पूर्व नेशनल शिपिंग बोर्ड सदस्य कैप्टन संजय पराशर ने होर्मुज संघर्ष में मारे गए भारतीय नाविकों के परिवारों के लिए ₹1 करोड़ की सरकारी मदद मांगी है। नाविक कल्याण पर एक सेमिनार में उन्होंने कहा कि नाविक सप्लाई चेन बनाए रखने में अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं, यहाँ तक कि COVID-19 जैसी वैश्विक आपदाओं में भी। पराशर ने नाविकों की सुरक्षा को प्राथमिकता देने और भारतीय नौसेना के जहाजों की भागीदारी बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सीफेयरर्स वेलफेयर फंड सोसाइटी से भी सभी नाविकों तक कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने का आग्रह किया।
