Two Held With 1.5 Kg Marijuana Near Chandanagar Railway Station in Hyderabad

Chandanagar police in Hyderabad have arrested two employees of a private company for allegedly possessing 1.5 kg of marijuana. The accused, identified as Meripati Manoj Kumar and M. Asha Jyothi, were apprehended near the Chandanagar railway station after attempting to flee from police. They reportedly sourced the marijuana from Odisha and intended to sell it in Hyderabad. Police seized the contraband, two mobile phones, and a polythene cover. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and samples are being sent for forensic analysis.
