Arunachal Pradesh will not field a team in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, the national U-19 tournament, which commenced on Thursday. The Arunachal Cricket Association (ACA) has been unable to participate due to an ongoing legal case and an interim stay on its functioning. Six district associations had alleged rule violations in the ACA's executive elections, leading to the dispute. This internal conflict has prevented team selection and preparation, causing the state to forfeit its matches. The situation also casts doubt on Arunachal's participation in the upcoming Ranji Trophy.
