ABVP seeks cancellation of Umar Khalid documentary screening

The student organisation cited Khalid's alleged association with controversies during past protests and riots. ABVP stated that educational campuses should prioritize learning and national integrity over political propaganda. They submitted a complaint to the NLSIU administration seeking the immediate cancellation of the event.

एबीवीपी ने बेंगलुरु के National Law School of India University (NLSIU) से उमर खालिद की डॉक्यूमेंट्री की स्क्रीनिंग रद्द करने की मांग की है। छात्र संगठन का कहना है कि खालिद का पिछले विरोध प्रदर्शनों और दंगों से संबंध रहा है। एबीवीपी के अनुसार, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को राजनीतिक प्रचार से ऊपर उठकर पढ़ाई और राष्ट्रीय अखंडता पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। उन्होंने NLSIU प्रशासन को इस कार्यक्रम को तुरंत रद्द करने के लिए शिकायत सौंपी है।
