Court Orders Police Probe Into Actor's Complaint

A Magistrate court in Ernakulam has directed the Kochi City police to investigate actor Ansiba Hassan's complaint against actor Lakshmi Priya and CAN Channel representatives. Hassan alleges they disseminated videos with false and sexually coloured allegations to outrage her modesty. The court noted that digital content must be examined to determine if offences under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, IT Act, and Kerala Police Act were committed. The investigation is deemed necessary to address concerns about tarnishing the petitioner's dignity and potential conspiracy.
