News18 Hindi · india

A farmer in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, has devised an innovative and low-cost method to collect cow urine for organic fertilizer. Farmer Triloki installed a pipe near his cattle shed, directing urine into a 5-liter plastic container. This collected urine is then used to prepare natural farming inputs like Jivamrit and organic manure. Triloki claims this technique, inspired by a YouTube video, can support organic farming on 10-15 bighas of land using urine from just one cow. This initiative aims to reduce farming costs and boost crop yields through sustainable practices.
