RBI Ends FCNR(B) Swap Facility Early

The Reserve Bank of India will prematurely end its FCNR(B) swap facility. Deposits under this scheme will be allowed until August 31. भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) अपनी FCNR(B) स्वैप सुविधा को समय से पहले बंद कर रहा है। इस स्कीम के तहत जमा 31 अगस्त तक स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। 13 अगस्त 2026 तक, इस सुविधा से विदेशी मुद्रा का प्रवाह 56.85 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुँच गया था। केंद्रीय बैंक का यह कदम विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार को प्रबंधित करने और मुद्रा बाज़ारों को प्रभावित करने के उद्देश्य से उठाया गया है।
