Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has launched an initial public offering (IPO) for his $19 billion Nigerian oil refinery, aiming to raise $1.6 billion from retail investors across the continent. The offering values Africa's largest refinery at approximately $49 billion. Dangote described the IPO as "for the people," with a minimum investment of $4 for a 10-share bundle. Despite the IPO not being publicly listed until November, its launch caused significant traffic.
