Bengaluru Student Caught Using Smart Glasses For Exam Cheating, Debarred

A student at Mount Carmel University in Bengaluru was caught using smart glasses to cheat during first-semester exams. An invigilator noticed the suspicious eyewear and, after an hour and a half, approached the student. Upon examination, the invigilator confirmed the glasses were technologically advanced and handed them over to authorities. The university has debarred the student from appearing in current exams, allowing them to retake the papers in the third semester. The seized smart glasses were reportedly worth around Rs 34,000.

बेंगलुरु के माउंट कार्मेल यूनिवर्सिटी की एक छात्रा पहले सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा के दौरान स्मार्ट चश्मे का इस्तेमाल करके नकल करते हुए पकड़ी गई। एक निरीक्षक ने संदिग्ध चश्मे को देखा और डेढ़ घंटे बाद छात्रा के पास पहुंचे। जांच के बाद, निरीक्षक ने पुष्टि की कि चश्मे तकनीकी रूप से उन्नत थे और उन्हें अधिकारियों को सौंप दिया। विश्वविद्यालय ने छात्रा को वर्तमान परीक्षाओं में बैठने से रोक दिया है, जिससे उन्हें तीसरे सेमेस्टर में पेपर दोबारा देने की अनुमति मिल गई है। जब्त किए गए स्मार्ट चश्मे की कीमत कथित तौर पर लगभग 34,000 रुपये थी।
