Anganwadi Workers Honoured at Delhi Govt's 'Angan Ka Milan' Programme

The Delhi government's Department of Women and Child Development hosted the 'Angan Ka Milan' programme in New Delhi on October 30 to recognise Anganwadi workers and helpers. The event celebrated their contributions to nutrition, preschool education, and early childhood care. Minister Parvesh Verma attended as chief guest, alongside other officials. The programme included a medical health check-up camp and exhibitions showcasing millet-based recipes and locally developed teaching materials. It highlighted the department's vision to expand Anganwadi Centres into community spaces supporting holistic development.

नई दिल्ली में 30 अक्टूबर को महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा 'आंगन का मिलन' कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं और सहायिकाओं को उनके पोषण, प्रीस्कूल शिक्षा और बचपन की देखभाल में योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। मंत्री परवेश वर्मा मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर अन्य अधिकारियों के साथ शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम में एक मेडिकल स्वास्थ्य जांच शिविर और बाजरे पर आधारित व्यंजनों और स्थानीय रूप से विकसित शिक्षण सामग्री की प्रदर्शनियों का आयोजन किया गया। इसने समग्र विकास का समर्थन करने वाले सामुदायिक स्थानों के रूप में आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों का विस्तार करने के विभाग के दृष्टिकोण पर प्रकाश डाला।
