Pinarayi Vijayan Demands Action Against Youth Congress Workers And Police

Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan has written to Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala demanding strict action against Youth Congress workers and police personnel. Vijayan alleges that violence at the University Hostel in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday was a planned attack. He claims around 200 Youth Congress workers, armed with weapons, hurled fireballs and stones at the hostel. Vijayan further alleged that police provided protection to the attackers and assaulted SFI activists, including the state secretary, after entering the hostel without permission.

विपक्ष के नेता पिनराई विजयन ने गृह मंत्री रमेश चेन्निथला को पत्र लिखकर यूथ कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं और पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है। विजयन का आरोप है कि बुधवार को तिरुवनंतपुरम में यूनिवर्सिटी हॉस्टल में हुई हिंसा एक सुनियोजित हमला था। उनका दावा है कि हथियारों से लैस करीब 200 यूथ कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने हॉस्टल पर आग के गोले और पत्थर फेंके। विजयन ने आगे आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने हमलावरों को संरक्षण दिया और बिना अनुमति के हॉस्टल में घुसने के बाद एसएफआई कार्यकर्ताओं, जिनमें राज्य सचिव भी शामिल थे, पर हमला किया।
