Wayanad's Kaniyambetta Panchayat Unveils Ambitious Tourism Development Plan

Kaniyambetta panchayat in Wayanad has launched an extensive tourism development initiative called 'Ever Shine Kaniyambetta-2030'. The plan aims to transform the region into a major tourist destination over the next five years. Key projects include developing the Kallanchira check dam with boating and kayaking facilities, alongside walkways and a children's park. Other proposed developments encompass canal beautification, a public swimming pool, a tribes museum, and agricultural tourism projects. The initiative seeks to integrate tourism, agriculture, heritage, and infrastructure development to boost local employment and economic growth.

वायनाड की कनियंबेटा पंचायत ने 'एवर शाइन कनियंबेटा-2030' नामक एक व्यापक पर्यटन विकास पहल शुरू की है। इस योजना का लक्ष्य अगले पांच वर्षों में क्षेत्र को एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित करना है। प्रमुख परियोजनाओं में कल्लंचिरा चेक डैम का विकास, जिसमें नौका विहार और कयाकिंग की सुविधाएं, साथ ही पैदल मार्ग और बच्चों का पार्क शामिल हैं। अन्य प्रस्तावित विकासों में नहर का सुंदरीकरण, एक सार्वजनिक स्विमिंग पूल, एक जनजातीय संग्रहालय और कृषि पर्यटन परियोजनाएं शामिल हैं। यह पहल स्थानीय रोजगार और आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पर्यटन, कृषि, विरासत और बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास को एकीकृत करना चाहती है।
