NASA and IBM Research have collaborated to develop an artificial intelligence system aimed at improving lunar mapping. The AI was trained on extensive image archives from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter probe, which has been photographing the Moon for seventeen years. This initiative addresses the challenge of analyzing vast amounts of visual data, enabling more efficient and comprehensive mapping of the lunar surface.

नासा और आईबीएम रिसर्च ने मिलकर एक आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) सिस्टम बनाया है। इसका मकसद चांद के नक्शे को और बेहतर बनाना है। इस AI को लूनर रिकॉनिसेंस ऑर्बिटर प्रोब की पुरानी तस्वीरों से सिखाया गया है, जो 17 सालों से चांद की तस्वीरें ले रहा है। यह सिस्टम चांद की बहुत सारी तस्वीरों को समझने में मदद करेगा, जिससे चांद की सतह का नक्शा ज़्यादा तेज़ी से और अच्छे से बन सकेगा।
