Muthoot Finance, India's largest gold loan company, reported a significant 36% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter, reaching Rs 3,278 crore. This surge was driven by a substantial 42% expansion in its business operations. Despite the profit growth, the company's asset quality saw a deterioration, with its standalone gross non-performing assets ratio rising to 3.87%. Consolidated assets under management grew to Rs 2.09 lakh crore, with gold loans forming the majority.

Muthoot Finance, भारत की सबसे बड़ी गोल्ड लोन कंपनी, ने दूसरी तिमाही में अपने कंसोलिडेटेड नेट प्रॉफिट में साल-दर-साल 36% की बड़ी बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की है, जो ₹3,278 करोड़ तक पहुंच गया। यह उछाल उसके बिजनेस ऑपरेशन्स में 42% के बड़े विस्तार से प्रेरित था। मुनाफे में वृद्धि के बावजूद, कंपनी की एसेट क्वालिटी में गिरावट देखी गई, क्योंकि उसका स्टैंडअलोन ग्रॉस नॉन-परफॉर्मिंग एसेट्स (NPA) रेशियो बढ़कर 3.87% हो गया। कंसोलिडेटेड एसेट्स अंडर मैनेजमेंट ₹2.09 लाख करोड़ तक बढ़ गए, जिसमें गोल्ड लोन का हिस्सा सबसे ज्यादा रहा।
