A Lancet Commission report has identified 17 major threats to human health and survival over the next 75 years. These include malicious use of Artificial Intelligence, nuclear war leading to famine, and antimicrobial resistance. Other significant dangers listed are air pollution, climate crisis, obesity, and high blood pressure. The report categorizes threats based on their potential to cause illness, disability, or premature death. While richer regions face non-communicable diseases like obesity, poorer areas are more affected by factors like poor education.
