Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded the dissolution of the Lok Sabha and all State Assemblies, asserting that current elections are illegal. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and all Chief Ministers are illegitimately in power. Kharge called for fresh elections to be conducted using ballot papers, alleging misuse of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and irregularities in the electoral roll revision process. He indicated the Opposition will continue nationwide protests against these alleged electoral malpractices, which he claims harm the poor, uneducated, and minorities.
