Cuddalore Mayor, DMK Councillors Protest Corporation Commissioner

Cuddalore Mayor Sundari Raja and DMK councillors protested against Corporation Commissioner S. Kishan Kumar on Wednesday. They alleged the Commissioner made disrespectful remarks against the Mayor and councillors during a meeting about completed projects and un-desilted stormwater drains in 45 wards. The protesters attempted to lay siege to the Commissioner's office but were removed by police. A petition was later submitted to the Superintendent of Police demanding action.

बुधवार को कुड्डालोर की मेयर सुंदरी राजा और डीएमके पार्षदों ने कॉर्पोरेशन कमिश्नर एस. किशन कुमार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कमिश्नर ने 45 वार्डों में पूरे हुए प्रोजेक्ट्स और नालों की सफाई को लेकर हुई मीटिंग में मेयर और पार्षदों के खिलाफ अपमानजनक टिप्पणी की थी। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कमिश्नर के दफ्तर को घेरने की कोशिश की, लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें हटा दिया। बाद में पुलिस अधीक्षक को कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए एक याचिका सौंपी गई।
