Talks between the U.S. and Russia concerning the war in Ukraine have reportedly expanded to include a multi-billion dollar oil deal. This proposed agreement involves Lukoil's global oil fields, refineries, and gas stations. The deal, which requires approval from both the U.S. government and the Kremlin, would also benefit West Asian business executives linked to U.S. negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly raised the possibility of completing this deal during a meeting with Witkoff and Kushner in September.
