Amazon Now Sees Strong Response in Visakhapatnam, Orders Surge Six-Fold

Amazon's quick-delivery service, Amazon Now, has received an encouraging response in Visakhapatnam since its launch a few weeks ago. Director Srikant Sree Ram stated that orders are now six to seven times higher than the previous Amazon Fresh service, with a significant repeat purchase rate. The service, which aims to reach 100 cities by Diwali, is already available in twenty cities across Andhra Pradesh. Non-grocery items constitute about 40% of orders, indicating a growing demand for healthier products and a shift towards clean labels.

अमेज़न की क्विक-डिलीवरी सर्विस, अमेज़न नाउ, को कुछ हफ़्ते पहले लॉन्च होने के बाद से विशाखापत्तनम में काफ़ी अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स मिला है। डायरेक्टर श्रीकांत श्री राम ने बताया कि अमेज़न फ्रेश सर्विस की तुलना में अब ऑर्डर छह से सात गुना ज़्यादा हैं, और बार-बार ख़रीदारी करने वाले ग्राहकों की संख्या भी काफ़ी है। यह सर्विस, जिसका लक्ष्य दिवाली तक 100 शहरों तक पहुँचना है, आंध्र प्रदेश के बीस शहरों में पहले से ही उपलब्ध है। ग्रोसरी के अलावा दूसरी चीज़ें लगभग 40% ऑर्डर में शामिल हैं, जो हेल्दी प्रोडक्ट्स की बढ़ती माँग और क्लीन लेबल की ओर बढ़ते रुझान को दिखाता है।
