WhatsApp Job Scams: Police Warn of Cyber Frauds Targeting Users

Cybercriminals are using WhatsApp to lure unsuspecting individuals with promises of easy money through small tasks. Initially, victims may receive small payments to build trust. Scammers then offer 'premium tasks' requiring a significant investment, ultimately leading to financial loss. Rajasthan's SP Amit Kumar Budania highlighted these tactics, urging the public to be vigilant. The I4C agency shared this warning, advising victims to report such incidents immediately by calling 1930 or using the cybercrime portal.
