NRAI Retains Olympic Selection Trials Format for 2028 LA Games

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced its selection criteria for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, maintaining the Olympic Selection Trials (OST) format used for the Paris Games. This new system, effective from the ISSF World Championship in Doha, will assess shooters based on their Final Average Score (FAS) and Quota Bonus Points (QBP). Athletes must participate in at least three of the four OSTs to be eligible. The NRAI reiterated that Olympic quota places belong to the country, not individual athletes, ensuring continued competition for representation.
