Lucknow Authority Proposes Construction Ban Within 500m of Outer Ring Road

LDA has proposed a ban on new construction within 500 metres on either side of the 106-km Outer Ring Road. This move aims to establish a green buffer zone and curb unplanned growth along the corridor. The proposal is scheduled for review by the LDA board. If approved, LDA will issue a formal order to implement the restriction. The board will also consider other proposals, including raising flood protection charges by 15-20% to fund infrastructure improvements, which could impact development costs.
