Norway to Invest Nearly $108 Million in Ukraine's Defense Sector

Norway has announced a significant step to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia. The Norwegian government will establish a fund of approximately 1 billion Norwegian Kroner, equivalent to about $107.6 million or 900 crore Indian Rupees, to invest in Ukraine's defense industry. This initiative aims to attract more private investment into Ukraine's defense sector, with Norway's government providing capital to help private companies enhance defense technology and production. The investment, part of Norway's multi-year support program, will be disbursed over three years.
