Madhya Pradesh HC Rejects Centre's Plea Against Additional IPS Cadre Review

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has dismissed the Centre's petition challenging a Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) order for an additional cadre review of IPS officers in the state. The Centre had argued that reviews were conducted as per norms and without delay. However, the court did not accept this contention. The CAT had previously directed the Centre and state government to conduct the review within 120 days.

मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य में IPS अधिकारियों की अतिरिक्त कैडर समीक्षा के लिए केंद्रीय प्रशासनिक न्यायाधिकरण (CAT) के आदेश को चुनौती देने वाली केंद्र की याचिका खारिज कर दी है। केंद्र ने दलील दी थी कि समीक्षाएं तय मानकों के अनुसार और बिना किसी देरी के की गई थीं। हालांकि, अदालत ने इस दलील को स्वीकार नहीं किया। CAT ने पहले केंद्र और राज्य सरकार को 120 दिनों के भीतर समीक्षा करने का निर्देश दिया था।
