A 26-year-old cab driver from Uttarakhand allegedly died by suicide at his rented accommodation in Hallomajra, Chandigarh, on Wednesday evening. Police found the man hanging from a ceiling fan and rushed him to GMCH, where he was declared dead. उत्तराखंड के रहने वाले 26 वर्षीय कैब ड्राइवर ने बुधवार शाम को चंडीगढ़ के हल्लोमाजरा में अपने किराए के कमरे में कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस ने आदमी को पंखे से लटका हुआ पाया और उसे जीएमसीएच ले गई, जहाँ उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। कोई सुसाइड नोट नहीं मिला, और प्रारंभिक जांच में बाहरी चोट के कोई निशान नहीं मिले, जिससे किसी गलत काम से इनकार किया गया। आत्महत्या के कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए उसके मोबाइल फोन को फोरेंसिक जांच के लिए जब्त कर लिया गया है। जांच की कार्यवाही चल रही है, और शव का पोस्टमार्टम परिवार के आने का इंतजार कर रहा है।
