NGO Seeks Child-Centric Response to Online Harms

An NGO, Matri Sudha, partnered with the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights to host a national consultation in Delhi. The event called for a child-centric legal, policy, and institutional response to emerging online harms faced by children. Experts discussed issues like online grooming, cyberbullying, and AI-enabled harms, questioning the adequacy of current frameworks. DCPCR Chairperson O P Vyas proposed a multi-stakeholder working group to address these evolving challenges and develop actionable recommendations for the government.
