Former minister and Andhra Pradesh MLC C Ramachandraiah has alleged he was defrauded of ₹25 lakh in a land deal in Madhapur. He claims individuals posing as owners of a 5.5-acre property on 100 Feet Road induced him and his wife to purchase it, accepting a token advance. Ramachandraiah grew suspicious when the accused repeatedly failed to provide title documents, and subsequent inquiries revealed they did not own the land.

आंध्र प्रदेश के पूर्व मंत्री और एमएलसी सी रामचंद्रैया ने आरोप लगाया है कि मधुपुर में एक ज़मीन सौदे में उनसे ₹25 लाख की ठगी हुई है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि 100 Feet Road पर 5.5 एकड़ संपत्ति के मालिकों के रूप में पेश आने वाले लोगों ने उन्हें और उनकी पत्नी को इसे खरीदने के लिए प्रेरित किया और टोकन एडवांस स्वीकार किया। जब आरोपियों ने बार-बार टाइटल दस्तावेज़ प्रदान करने में विफल रहे, तो रामचंद्रैया को संदेह हुआ, और बाद की पूछताछ में पता चला कि वे ज़मीन के मालिक नहीं थे।
