Global Humanoid Robot Sales Reached 7,000 Last Year

Worldwide sales of humanoid robots reached approximately 7,000 units last year, primarily for industrial and professional service applications, according to the International Federation of Robotics. This figure represents a small fraction compared to the hundreds of thousands of regular industrial and service robots sold annually. Many of these humanoids are currently used by research institutions and companies for AI model development rather than productive work.
