Indian stock markets experienced a significant crash, with both Sensex and Nifty indices plummeting at the opening. The Sensex fell over 700 points, while the Nifty dropped below the 23,000 mark. This market turmoil resulted in billions of rupees in investor wealth being wiped out. Major banking and IT stocks saw considerable declines, impacting large-cap companies as well. The BSE Bankex and IT Index also registered notable losses.

शेयर बाज़ार में भारी गिरावट, निवेशकों को अरबों का नुकसान

भारतीय शेयर बाज़ारों में भारी गिरावट आई, जिसमें Sensex और Nifty दोनों सूचकांक शुरुआत में ही लुढ़क गए। Sensex 700 अंकों से ज़्यादा गिर गया, जबकि Nifty 23,000 के स्तर से नीचे चला गया। इस बाज़ार की उथल-पुथल के कारण निवेशकों की अरबों रुपये की संपत्ति का सफाया हो गया। प्रमुख बैंकिंग और IT शेयरों में काफ़ी गिरावट देखी गई, जिससे बड़ी कंपनियों पर भी असर पड़ा। BSE Bankex और IT Index में भी उल्लेखनीय नुकसान दर्ज किया गया।
