Cyclone Arnab caused an estimated ₹4,526 crore in damages, destroying crops across over 3.52 lakh hectares. Essential supplies were stocked, and medical aid was dispatched to affected districts. The government is also exploring future mitigation strategies like wind-resistant poles and cyclone-tolerant crops.
