IIIT Ranchi Students Protest For Second Day, Demand Director's Resignation

Students at IIIT Ranchi continued their protest for a second day following the suicide of a first-year student. They accused the institute administration of negligence and failing to provide adequate emergency medical facilities. Protesters are demanding the immediate resignation of director Rajiv Srivastava and the implementation of a robust, round-the-clock emergency medical system. Examinations scheduled for Monday were postponed due to the ongoing agitation. Police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the student's demise.

IIIT रांची के छात्र एक प्रथम वर्ष के छात्र की आत्महत्या के बाद दूसरे दिन भी विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने संस्थान प्रशासन पर लापरवाही और पर्याप्त आपातकालीन चिकित्सा सुविधाओं की कमी का आरोप लगाया है। प्रदर्शनकारी तत्काल निदेशक राजीव श्रीवास्तव के इस्तीफे और एक मजबूत, चौबीसों घंटे आपातकालीन चिकित्सा प्रणाली को लागू करने की मांग कर रहे हैं। जारी आंदोलन के कारण सोमवार को होने वाली परीक्षाएं स्थगित कर दी गई थीं। पुलिस ने अप्राकृतिक मौत का मामला दर्ज कर छात्र की मौत के कारणों की जांच कर रही है।
