The minimum temperature also dropped to 20°C, with humidity levels reaching 100%. North-westerly winds further intensified the cold. The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for the Kanpur division, warning of heavy rainfall and strong winds up to 60 kmph in the next 24 hours. This prolonged rainfall has disrupted daily life and severely impacted petty vendors.
