Farmer Saves ₹0 on Fertiliser Costs By Making Own Organic Manure

A farmer from Rohtas district, Lalbabu Singh, has transformed his farming practices by adopting natural methods. Previously spending thousands on chemical fertilisers for his 20 acres, he now prepares his own organic manure using readily available household materials. This shift has significantly reduced his cultivation costs, eliminating expenses on pesticides and frequent fertiliser applications. Singh has received 15 awards for his innovative approach to natural farming. He believes that with proper training, natural farming can yield good production while substantially increasing farmer savings.

रोहतास जिले के किसान लालबाबू सिंह ने प्राकृतिक तरीकों को अपनाकर अपनी खेती का तरीका बदल दिया है। पहले अपनी 20 एकड़ जमीन के लिए रासायनिक उर्वरकों पर हजारों रुपये खर्च करने वाले, अब वह घर में आसानी से उपलब्ध सामग्री का उपयोग करके अपना जैविक खाद खुद तैयार करते हैं। इस बदलाव से उनकी खेती की लागत काफी कम हो गई है, कीटनाशकों और बार-बार उर्वरक डालने का खर्च खत्म हो गया है। सिंह को प्राकृतिक खेती के अपने नवीन दृष्टिकोण के लिए 15 पुरस्कार मिल चुके हैं। उनका मानना है कि उचित प्रशिक्षण के साथ, प्राकृतिक खेती अच्छी पैदावार दे सकती है और साथ ही किसानों की बचत में भी काफी वृद्धि कर सकती है।
