BPUT हॉस्टल में रविवार को कैंटीन में कथित तौर पर अस्वास्थ्यकर भोजन तैयार करने को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन हुआ। एक वायरल वीडियो में कथित तौर पर एक कर्मचारी को अपने पैरों से आटा गूंथते हुए दिखाया गया था, जिससे छात्रों में आक्रोश फैल गया। उन्होंने भोजन करने से इनकार कर दिया और खाद्य ठेकेदार के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की। BPUT के निदेशक शिव कुमार मिश्रा ने कहा कि आरोपों की जांच के लिए एक तथ्य-खोज समिति का गठन किया गया है और वह सोमवार को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपेगी। विरोध प्रदर्शन विश्वविद्यालय की हॉस्टल सुविधाओं के भीतर भोजन की गुणवत्ता और स्वच्छता मानकों पर चिंताओं को उजागर करता है।
