In 2015, Erin and Chris Amerman bought a 210-acre farm near Gainesville, Florida, initially rescuing three cows. By 2016, they established Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary, which has since expanded to 420 acres across three properties. The sanctuary now houses over 180 rescued animals, including cows, donkeys, pigs, and horses. Beyond animal rescue, 125 acres are dedicated to wildlife conservation, and the sanctuary hosts public events to foster compassion for farmed animals.
