Bihar University Develops Integrated Farming Model for Farmers' Income

South Bihar Central University in Gaya, Bihar, has developed an integrated farming model on two acres of land to boost farmers' income. This model combines agriculture with animal husbandry, including cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and fish farming, alongside growing fruits and vegetables. The aim is to optimize land and resource utilization, preventing farmers from relying solely on one crop. This approach allows by-products from one activity to be used in another, reducing costs and ensuring income diversification.

गया, बिहार में साउथ बिहार सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी ने किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए दो एकड़ जमीन पर एक एकीकृत खेती का मॉडल तैयार किया है। इस मॉडल में खेती को पशुपालन के साथ जोड़ा गया है, जिसमें गाय, बकरी, मुर्गी, बत्तख और मछली पालन के साथ-साथ फल और सब्जियां उगाई जाएंगी। इसका मकसद जमीन और संसाधनों का बेहतर इस्तेमाल करना है, ताकि किसान सिर्फ एक फसल पर निर्भर न रहें। यह तरीका एक गतिविधि के उप-उत्पादों को दूसरी में इस्तेमाल करने की सुविधा देता है, जिससे लागत कम होती है और आय के स्रोत भी बढ़ते हैं।
