Assam CID to Challenge Bail for Two in Jubin Garg Death Case

The Assam CID will challenge the Guwahati High Court's bail order for Amritprabha Mahanta and Sandipan Garg in the Jubin Garg death case by approaching the Supreme Court. Special DGP CID and SIT chief Munna Prasad Gupta stated that the trial is proceeding daily with 134 witnesses already examined. The fast-track court proceedings are ongoing. Sandipan Garg, an Assam Police DSP, and Amritprabha Mahanta were arrested by the SIT in connection with the singer's death in Singapore in September 2025 following a scuba diving accident.

असम CID, जुबिन गर्ग मौत मामले में अमृताप्राभा महंत और संदीपन गर्ग को गुवाहाटी हाई कोर्ट से मिली जमानत के आदेश को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती देगी। स्पेशल डीजीपी CID और SIT चीफ मुन्ना प्रसाद गुप्ता ने बताया कि मामले की सुनवाई रोज़ाना चल रही है और 134 गवाहों की जांच हो चुकी है। फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट में सुनवाई जारी है। सितंबर 2025 में सिंगापुर में एक स्कूबा डाइविंग दुर्घटना के बाद गायक की मौत के संबंध में SIT ने असम पुलिस के DSP संदीपन गर्ग और अमृताप्राभा महंत को गिरफ्तार किया था।
