Villupuram Steps Up Disease Surveillance Before Monsoon

Villupuram district administration is intensifying disease surveillance and preventive measures ahead of the monsoon season. Collector Sheik Abdul Rahman stated that the Health and Family Welfare Department is increasing fever surveillance, mosquito control, and conducting medical camps, especially in rural areas. Sanitation work, fogging, and water purification are also being prioritized. Residents are urged to take precautions against dengue and chikungunya by covering water containers, cleaning tanks, and removing potential breeding sites for mosquitoes. Prompt reporting of illnesses to health workers is also advised.

मॉनसून से पहले, विल्लुपुरम जिला प्रशासन बीमारियों पर कड़ी नज़र रख रहा है और रोकथाम के उपाय तेज़ कर रहा है। कलेक्टर शेक अब्दुल रहमान ने बताया कि स्वास्थ्य विभाग खासकर ग्रामीण इलाकों में बुखार की निगरानी, मच्छरों पर नियंत्रण और मेडिकल कैंप लगा रहा है। सफाई, फॉगिंग और पानी को शुद्ध करने का काम भी प्राथमिकता पर है। लोगों से अपील है कि वे डेंगू और चिकनगुनिया से बचने के लिए पानी के बर्तन ढकें, टैंक साफ करें और मच्छरों के पनपने की जगहों को हटाएँ।
