Newborn Boy Found Dead in Plastic Bag Near Ahmedabad Shanties

A newborn boy was discovered dead inside a black plastic bag in an open field near Sarkhej's Ujala Circle on Saturday evening. The discovery was made by children playing near their shanty home, who alerted their parents. The baby, found wrapped in shorts, was declared dead by ambulance personnel. Sarkhej police have registered a complaint and are investigating to identify the person responsible for abandoning the infant shortly after birth.
