CBI Arrives in Mansa at Midnight to Probe Jhota Murder Case

A CBI team arrived in Mansa around midnight to investigate the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota, hours after the Punjab government transferred the case. The central agency registered an FIR and visited the crime scene at the accused's demolished pharmacy. Uncertainty persists over the postmortem, with Jhota's wife stating no consent has been given and the Insaf Committee will decide.
