India Calls for Deeper Quad Cooperation on Energy, Maritime Security

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized the need for enhanced Quad cooperation to bolster supply chain resilience and ensure security in energy, critical minerals, and technology. Speaking at the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Atlanta, he also addressed countering non-market economic practices in the Indo-Pacific. Jaishankar highlighted the importance of stability, prosperity, and freedom of choice in the region. The meeting, held alongside the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, also focused on advancing agreements in counter-terrorism and maritime security.
