Surgeon Rear Admiral Jandhyala Sridhar has assumed charge as the Command Medical Officer at Headquarters Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam. Commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1993, he is a specialist in dermatology with over three decades of service. He has previously held significant positions, including Commanding Officer of INHS Kalyani during the COVID-19 pandemic and Dean of the Institute of Naval Medicine. His prior role was Consultant Dermatology at Command Hospital in Kolkata.

सर्जन रियर एडमिरल जंध्याला श्रीधर ने विशाखापत्तनम में ईस्टर्न नेवल कमांड के मुख्यालय में कमांड मेडिकल ऑफिसर के तौर पर पदभार संभाला है। 1993 में इंडियन नेवी में कमीशन हुए, वह त्वचा रोग विशेषज्ञ हैं और तीन दशक से ज़्यादा की सेवा दे चुके हैं। उन्होंने पहले INHS कल्याणी के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर के तौर पर COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान और इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ नेवल मेडिसिन के डीन के तौर पर अहम पद संभाले थे। उनकी पिछली भूमिका कोलकाता के कमांड हॉस्पिटल में कंसल्टेंट डर्मेटोलॉजी की थी।
