This directive comes amid growing concerns over medicine shortages in government hospitals across the state. The message also instructs district medical officers to prevent hospital superintendents from sharing information about medicine availability with the media. Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan stated the audio message vindicates allegations of a severe crisis in the state's public healthcare system.
