Two Men Sentenced to Life Imprisonment for Murder Over Property Boundary Dispute

A district court in Thiruvananthapuram has sentenced two men, P Anish (32) and Nikhil A (25), to life imprisonment for the murder of Vijayakumari. The crime occurred in 2022 following a dispute over a property boundary in Neyyattinkara. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on each convict, with an additional six months rigorous imprisonment for non-payment. The fine money is to be paid to the deceased's daughter, and the district legal services authority will assist the victim's family with compensation.

तिरुवनंतपुरम की एक जिला अदालत ने दो लोगों, पी अनीश (32) और निखिल ए (25) को विजयकुमारी की हत्या के मामले में उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई है। यह अपराध 2022 में नेय्याट्टिंकरा में संपत्ति की सीमा को लेकर हुए विवाद के बाद हुआ था। अदालत ने प्रत्येक दोषी पर 50,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है, और भुगतान न करने पर छह महीने की अतिरिक्त कड़ी कैद की सज़ा का प्रावधान है। जुर्माने की राशि मृतक की बेटी को दी जानी है, और जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण पीड़ित परिवार को मुआवज़े में सहायता करेगा।
