Jaipur Traffic Police to Regulate E-rickshaws in Walled City From Oct 19

Jaipur Traffic Police will implement a QR-code-based regulation system for e-rickshaws in the walled city. Only 250 e-rickshaws will be permitted to operate across five designated sub-zones, with 50 vehicles allocated to each. This initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion caused by the approximately 7,000 unregulated e-rickshaws currently operating in the area. E-rickshaws registered under the new Digital Management System will receive QR codes for identification and operation within their assigned zones.

जयपुर ट्रैफिक पुलिस पुराने शहर में ई-रिक्शा के लिए क्यूआर-कोड आधारित एक रेगुलेशन सिस्टम लागू करेगी। पांच निर्धारित सब-जोन में 250 ई-रिक्शा को ही चलने की इजाजत होगी, हर जोन में 50 गाड़ियां होंगी। इस पहल का मकसद लगभग 7,000 अनियंत्रित ई-रिक्शा से होने वाली ट्रैफिक जाम को कम करना है। नए डिजिटल मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम के तहत रजिस्टर ई-रिक्शा को उनके निर्धारित जोन में पहचान और संचालन के लिए क्यूआर-कोड मिलेंगे।
