Govt Panel Proposes Lower GST On Mango Drinks

A government panel has proposed a 5% GST rate for mango drinks containing 22-25% real pulp. This initiative aims to boost demand for Totapuri mango pulp and enhance the quality of beverages. The committee's recommendations also include price stabilization committees and orchard rejuvenation to support Totapuri farmers facing price declines. The government will consult ministries to finalize the standards and tax structure for this proposal.

आम के जूस पर 5% GST का प्रस्ताव आया है। इसमें 22-25% असली पल्प होना चाहिए। सरकार चाहती है कि इससे Totapuri आम के पल्प की मांग बढ़े और ड्रिंक्स की क्वालिटी सुधरे। कमेटी ने किसानों के लिए दाम तय करने और बागों को बेहतर बनाने की भी सलाह दी है। सरकार बाकी मंत्रालयों से बात करके इस पर आखिरी फैसला लेगी।
