Ilhan Omar's Appearance With Controversial Podcaster Draws Criticism From Jewish Groups

Hindustan Times · politics

US Representative Ilhan Omar is scheduled to appear with far-left podcaster Hasan Piker at an election rally in Minneapolis. Piker has faced significant backlash for alleged anti-Semitic remarks, including comments criticized by the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish American Committee. The Jewish American Committee stated that Piker has justified attacks on Jews and should not be platformed, emphasizing that silence is a choice. Several Democratic figures, including Rep. Angie Craig and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, have also spoken out against Omar's association with Piker.
