Salima Tete To Captain India At Women's World

Salima Tete has been named captain of the Indian women's hockey team for the FIH Women's World Cup 2026. Hockey India announced a 20-member squad for the prestigious tournament, which will be co-hosted by the Netherlands and Belgium. Chief coach Sjoerd Marijne described the team as well-balanced.
