Australia is facing scrutiny after a heavy innings and 31-run defeat to South Africa in the second Test. Captain Pat Cummins acknowledged the need for the team management to reconsider the playing XI for the upcoming decisive Test in Cape Town. The availability of Cameron Green and Josh Inglis could influence selection decisions. Players like Marnus Labuschagne, Nic Maddinson, and Beau Webster failed to make significant contributions in the second innings. Cummins stated that the team will discuss whether to give underperforming players another chance or introduce new talent.
