Apple Pay India Launch Next Month With Axis

Apple Pay is set to launch in India next month, initially partnering with Axis Bank's credit cards. The service allows iPhone users to make secure tap-and-pay purchases using tokenised card details stored on their device. Transactions are authenticated via Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode, with merchants never seeing actual card numbers. This launch follows regulatory changes by the Reserve Bank of India permitting biometric authentication for card payments, a key hurdle for Apple's service.

एप्पल पे अगले महीने भारत में लॉन्च होने वाला है। शुरुआत में यह Axis Bank के क्रेडिट कार्ड के साथ काम करेगा। इससे iPhone यूज़र्स अपने फ़ोन में सेव किए गए टोकनाइज़्ड कार्ड डिटेल्स से सुरक्षित टैप-एंड-पे कर सकेंगे। पेमेंट Face ID, Touch ID या पासकोड से वेरिफाई होगी। मर्चेंट्स को कभी भी असली कार्ड नंबर नहीं दिखेगा। RBI के नए नियमों के बाद यह संभव हुआ है।
